I have been looking around this site and finally got up the nerve to post something. Would like some feedback on likes and dislikes, please..
I used a lot of different tutorials that I read here to arrive at what you see.

I love it! Particularly the colours. The purple of the beetle is wonderful. The effect is beautiful - I'm a sucker for this kind of watercolour. I might have to try some of this photo art stuff myself one day...

Sorry I missed your first post. This is quite nice. I like the watercolor look. Did you use Virtual Painter Oil Painting filter on part of this?

Yes Danny I did use Virtal Painter on this one and found out that I don't like the effect because this program doesn't allow you to change it very much..to me it looks to much like a canned effect and I would like to have more input into the final product... I have worked on it without using the program but haven't been able to achieve the effect that I am looking for......still trying and will post when and if I can get it closer to my minds eye....... thanks for your comments they are very much appreciated...
