A ohoto posted on the retouch forums so I thought I would gice it a go. Any specific thoughts on this?

There is quite a bit of difference (art style-wise) between the foreground subject and the background and edge effect... sort of a pottery glazed effect on colored chalk. If that was your intent, missioned accomplished.

BTW: Your recent infusion of creativity is a breath of fresh air and definitely appreciated, Carrie.

And just so you know... I don't comment on every image posted in the forum, so don't take a non-comment by me to mean anything one way or the other, OK? :)

And just so you know II: This 101 forum is pretty much a sandbox for rookies, who are still getting their sea legs. Since you earned your stripes a long time ago you are more than welcome to post creations like these in the main forum.
