Hi all,

I recently had a thread running here about which tablet to buy. Now I finally bought one, an Aiptek HyperPen8000 USB!

It's really awesome to work with that board, it works precise and everything. But today I experienced a really odd problem:

I plugged the tablet into my laptop to do some photos and started working. After a few clicks i noted some odd behaviour, it didn't copy correctly, had to click several times for some actions etc. So I started the Settings window and tried to find the problem, then I realized what happened: Whenever I click, in other words point the tip on the tablet, the mouse arrow jumped to the upper left corner of the screen! This happened every single time I clicked, so it was barely impossible to work.

I just hope this is just a problem of my laptop or some temporary windows-problem, but has anybody experienced this behavior before?

Patrick

Try disabling wisptis.exe via Task Manager and see if that helps. If it does you can permanently disable it via system manager.

Hi Doug,

no it wasn't the wisptis.exe, disabled it a long time ago ;)

I found out the tablet behaves like this everytime I plug it in while the PC is already running. If I plug it in and then power up the problem does not appear.

Thanks for your reply!
