Hi everybody...here I have a pic I like and I 'm trying to make the same effect....there are 2 pics, one of the flag and the other of the nike....does anybody knows how to make it step by step ?

This effect is created using 'displacement maps' ... this Tutorial (http://www.gurusnetwork.com/tutorial/displace/) is, in my opinion, the best on this topic .... in particular this (http://www.gurusnetwork.com/tutorial/displace/5/) and this (http://www.gurusnetwork.com/tutorial/displace/6/) pages explain very clearly how to ....

I'm glad for great tutorials but Jeesh. This one id far far too wordy. I think the author is practicing for writing a book
