I like your color choices on the clothes. It fits the era. :)
Did you color their lips? Even this small, a little color on their lips will help.

You can remove that line on the left side of the photo.

The original photo is really blurred. It's more apparent after the color application especially on the faces. It's best if you sharpen it a little.

This is a very nice family photo. Good luck with your restoration!

Hello lukpiw,

This is not ideal but just to show you what I mean, I used your colorized version. I removed the line using the healing brush tool. For high contrast areas, used clone stamp tool.

I also applied Unsharp mask filter to sharpen it. I also added a hint of "red" on their faces using soft brush at 5% opacity, as their faces are much too pink.

I meant "not ideal" because the colorized version posted here is compressed already. I am sure you'll fair better with your original file.

Very nice result Soleah! For the line, Here's a quick and dirty.
Set to Clone Stamp, select a brush size just slightly larger than the line. Position cursor immediately to the side and top of the line.
Alt-click
Position cursor centered on top of line. Click.
Position cursor at bottom of line. Shift Click. That's it.

You may want to do some additional subtle healing on the grass etc. to taste.

Cheers
Dave
