Greetings - first time on this site/forum. Hope this works !

I have Photoshop 7 & 8. I use the Automate\Web Photo Galary (WPG) routines frequently but have always wanted to edit the code underneath that drives the routines. In many ways there are things about PS7's routines I like that PS8's Web Photo Galary does not have. I have tried to copy the WebContactSheetII.8LI file from 7 to 8's location (see path below), but to no effect.

Does ANYONE know how to move the PS7 routines to PS8 and/or know how to edit the existing settings and/or create new Web Photo Galary script routines? I work in both Windows XP and Apple OSX environments (can't wait until they get the Linux version up and running!)

The web photo galleries work via templates which are editable. Do you mean something other than this?

(I must be missing something.) Where are the template files for web photo galleries located in Photoshop? Sorry.

Adobe\Photoshop CS\Presets\Web Photo Gallery

You can copy the gallery templates from 6 and or 7 also from adobe photoalbum, on some of these you will loose the little preview image but they all work.

You can edit the templates with any html editor (make sure you're working on a copy, though). They work with variables, it's pretty straightforward.
