For the fonts, the information here should get you going:

For the brush files (.abr), technically they can reside anywhere on your computer. For convenience, however, moving them from your Downloads folder to

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop 7.0\Presets\Brushes

has its advantages.

Note: Photoshop changed the "brush engine" in PS7, so not all brushes downloaded from the net will work with PS7. You'll just need to experiment.

Getting the brushes into Photoshop after they have been copied into the folder above ##:
* If Photoshop is open, close it.
* Open Photoshop.
* File > Open any image
* From the Tools Palette, choose the brush tool
* Right-click to show the Brushes Palette
* Click on the arrow (top right of palette) to show the menu
* From the list of brush set files at the bottom of the menu, click the one you want to load.

Important: For the time being I suggest you choose option "append," otherwise you will end up replacing all your brushes with the new brush set.

May I also suggest you read the Photoshop help topics on brushes, especially how to save them.

Good luck. I hope this gets you moving.

##: It's not uncommon to be able to accomplish a given Photoshop task using different methods. This is an example of such a task.

It is very possible you have downloaded compressed Zipped or Rar files
If this is the case you will need to uncompress them before being able to follow DannyRaphael instructions

If the file names end in rar then download Winrar here
http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm

If the file names end in Zip then download Winzip here
http://www.winzip.com/downwzeval.htm
Winzip has a 21 ‘evaluation period’
