Felt this image would make a nice watercolor. Orig +find edges layer x2 (diff blends)+ vp gouache, and some hue-sat changes. Steve Conway 07-11-2005, 10:26 AM May have gotten carried away here. Anyway here is my manip. Steve Kraellin 07-11-2005, 02:44 PM palms, now i'm going to have to restore that ;) judy, darling! steve, nice! Craig raniday 07-13-2005, 07:38 PM Jaykita, this is a sweet photo, and all the paintings are beautiful. I think I started out with Art History Brush, then some Photoshop Watercolor and Impressionist filter. Neve 07-13-2005, 08:26 PM Thanks for the photo Judy and terrific work everyone :wavey: I started in Paint Shop Pro applying an Impressionist setting (one of Danny's), then Paint Engine sponge setting. Into Painter and some brushstrokes on the trees, then decided to Just Add Water to entire picture. cazubi 07-17-2005, 09:43 PM Beautiful work everyone. I used Painter, and used watercolor cloners and added paper texture. Cathy Drach 07-19-2005, 06:49 AM I thought it might be a good idea to keep the couple and the cart.. This is the layer setup: couple and cart cut out carefully graphic pen (soft light) colored pencil (hue) accented edges (difference) original Now the bad part.. jpg compression 6  :heul: :bawling: Kraellin 07-19-2005, 07:21 AM nice catherine, neve, cathy :) drach, interesting effect. makes the couple stand out. almost like doing an edge effect, but around the whole of the couple. nice :) Craig palms1 07-19-2005, 07:27 AM Had another go with a bit different approach. palms Kraellin 07-20-2005, 06:44 AM nice, palms. that's quite a contrast. you made me think that this picture shld maybe be cropped also, to bring the couple to the forefront more. good job :) Craig Patricia 08-07-2005, 11:11 PM Very nice image! I started for a watercolor, but detoured so many times along the way that I have no idea how I got here. Oh, well, enjoy! DannyRaphael 08-08-2005, 12:53 AM Very nice image! I started for a watercolor, but detoured so many times along the way that I have no idea how I got here. Oh, well, enjoy! The creative path is seldom easy to predict and if it was long, it's usually difficult to explain. "Been there/done that" too many times to count. :dizzy: As long as you had fun along the way (and it looks like you did, Patricia), that's what counts! ~Danny~ Steve Conway 08-08-2005, 10:13 AM Such a nice pic, that I didnt think another go at it would be out of order. Steve Legacy~Art 08-08-2005, 06:13 PM My favourites are Jaykita and Patricias, lovely work everyone else. |
