I have recently (three months or so) bought an Aiptek tablet 8000U and want to share my experience with it:

Pen and Tablett: Work just wonderful! Excellent control over pressure and movements.

Mouse: Take it out of the box, and throw it away as fast as you can! The mouse does primarily work, but everytime you click the pointer begins jumping around like crazy, it's almost impossible to hit a button or link correctly. If you have another mouse, use that one instead.

Service and Support: Fabulous! After some weeks my pen started behaving a little odd, it stopped working from time to time and I had to shake it to make it work again :) Some days later it went completely crazy: The pen started clicking although I haven't even touched the tablet. Sometimes it clicked repeatedly like a machine gun. So I called the helpdesk and told them I have a broken pen here. Three days later I had a free new pen in my mailbox, not bad eh?

My opinion: If you want to buy a cheap and good tablet, Aiptek is your way to go! Your work speed will increase by at least 200% and it's one of the most useful tools I ever had!
