But you are right, it is a bit overdone. I copied the original and your touchup and layered them original on the bottom and two copies of the touched up one. I set the blend mode of the first touch up layer to color and faded the top layer to 59%. This brings a little of the original texture back in, but keeps the excellent color work you did. Good work, keep it up. Michael pixulz 07-27-2005, 08:18 PM Michael, Thank you so much! I appreciate it. I have learned and am still learning alot from this website and from people such as yourself. Duv 07-27-2005, 09:23 PM Excellent work Ramel! Nothing I can add to Michael's suggestions which are bang on. Anything beyond that is personal preference only..and I do mean personal. For myself, I prefer to lift the shadows ever so slightly and to alter the overall tone to reduce the cyan and yellow. My cup of tea..perhaps not yours but you have a very strong image nonetheless. Good job! Dave pixulz 07-30-2005, 03:25 PM Duv, Thanks! =) Flora 07-31-2005, 04:04 AM Wow! If I had to choose between your versions I would really be in trouble!! Nothing to add to what Michael said .... Excellent work everybody!!! :bigthmb: :bigthmb: :bigthmb: |
