palms,

that''s more subtle than the previous smudge ones with the cat (was that you, the cats one?), but i like it :)

Thanks Craig
yes it was me with the cats and yes it is more subtle than them, faces seem better that way, and this photo seems to have been more subtle than some ( if you understand what i mean) will post another one soon just got to wade through some photo's first

well, i like it. it's got a nice 'oil' feel to it.

honestly Palms, I'd relax on the eyes a bit personally

Thanks cassidy for advice, although no smudging was done on the eyes, just the usm and levels as on all of the picture

palms,

i think the second set needs some color adjustment before the other treatments. the skin colors look off to me.

Craig

edit: looks like too much green.

Palms,
Other than the color thing on number two that Craig already poiinted out I woudl say absolutely becautiful work! I think the eyes are great and one of the best things about each of them, how much they really pop! Great Job!

palms,

one thing flora reminded me of recently, is that you can selectively use the various color channels on curves. i applied this to your image on the red and green channels. i took the green down and the red up a bit. seems to work pretty well on your pics.

Thanks Craig looks much better  I didn't know you could do that on the various colour channels either, where i really struggle is which colour, even though it has just clicked that it can only be r g or b

p.s. just been into ps and gave it a go easy peasy when you know how ( or have the right mentor ! )

hi palms,

thanks :)

pretty easy once you know where to look.

as for 'mentor', we'll call this by proxy, since flora had to steer me to it first ;)

btw, did you see the fangs on that baby? :)
