My canon i9900 used to work fine..don't know what happened. The photo looks great in Photoshop and great in the print with preview window but when I send it to the printer and preview it there it is WAY too saturated and it prints likewise. Please help. I've been on the phone with canon numerous times and the printer has been overhauled. It's a problem with Photoshop and the printer communication we've concluded. The printer prints FINE from IPhoto. Should I reinstall photoshop? (won't I lose all my actions etc?). And since I upgraded with a download I don't know if I have the Photoshop CD. I am at my wits end. Printer hasn't worked in 6 months. Been sending out for my prints. UGH.
Thanks for any help at all.

Hi Susan. What profile are you using?

Hi,
The profile throughout is canon19900 PR1 as the techs told me to do...I use canon paper and ink. The pic of a rose that I'm using is red in Photoshop and fuscia in the canon preview. What profiles do you think I should use? I'm very confused now that I've read so much about paper profiles etc. I'm going to read more but a simple answer right now would be most helpful! Thank you!

ALSO what should I set my color settings at in Photoshop? They are all related aren't they?
Have you made sure the color adjustment is set to Auto? Also, Canon Effects should be turned off.

Could you please tell me where I set to Auto and turn effects off? Thanks so much for your time.
Susan
Hi Susan
I'm assuming my i9100 is similar to yours. When you go to printer properties there should be a number of tabs: Main, Page Setup, Stamp Background, Effects, Profiles and Maintenance. Auto feature should be under the Main tab.
