I'm hoping that the gurus here can help me to extract the groom from this photo, while leaving the background somewhat intact. i need the bride to be full length and in this setting, but cropping is okay as long as it fits that criteria...? i need help badly with this, i'm not skilled enough at all. is it possible? i need to find someone who can help me with projects like these, but right now i need to get this photo taken care of..! i'm stalled until i resolve this... :bawling:

I wasn't completely sure what you were trying to do. If I'm interpreting right, you mean you want to remove the groom from shot, and leave only the bride?

To do so I've simply used the clone tool - a bit rough, but a relatively simple procedure. To make it a bit easier, a copy of the other side of the archway, flipped over, and cloning from another part of the rotunda for the greenery gets you started.

It would be more difficult on a high-res file going to print, but on 72 dpi, it is relatively simple retouching.

Err, I hope this is the right file. :P

Here we go-- I thought the gazebo was too nice to crop, personally. :( So, a lower resolution version, I'm afraid.
