Does anyone have a tutorial for making backgrounds? :idea: I have a nice picture of a couple , but the background is people feeding their faces! Not romantic!! Thanks Neb :happy:

Thanks Neb :happy: DaveS 10-02-2005, 07:47 AM Hi Neb, I would think the most commonly used method is to create a new layer, select some nice soft colours for your background and foreground colours and the go into Filter>Render>Clouds and you can keep hitting control+F to run the filter till you get something you like. You can also use other filters on the result. I've also used a scene from andother landscape and heavily blurred it to some effect. Hope that is of some help. It is one of my favorite ways to make a new background for an indoor image. With a bit of creativity, you can do amazing things with it.
