Does any body here use the Redfield filter "sketchmaster" ?

I have downloaded the demo version and quite like it especially the lead pencil
problem is, the apply function is deactivated so Can't see what it is actualy like on image at different sizes, and what it would be like printed out, only at $39.90 would like to know these things before i put it on my xmas wish list
Any body have the answer ??

I know what you mean regarding it's difficult to assess potential results in a a small and low resolution preview window.

My .02 cents: What you see at 100% viewing in Photoshop is pretty much what you'll get printed. The printed results rendered by any plugin is more a function of image resolution (higher is better) and your printer than the plugin itself.

I sprung for the program and am happy with it. The $$ includes free upgrades for as long as the program is available. I'm still learning my way around the plug-in, but it's very easy to use. It seems to me that it opens to the "last use" setting, so I'm hesitant to change settings just now because I'm working on a genealogy project and want to have a "drawing" rendering of selected old family portraits at the first of each chapter...and I want them all to have the same effect.

I think the $$ is pretty good deal, in my opinion. My $.02.

This might help... You can preserve effects that you like for later recall using the "Save User Preset" option at the bottom of the presets menu. This will allow you to change settings at will, then go back to the one(s) that you really liked.

If you do this, may I suggest you use a special character like @, #, or $ as the first character of your custom preset names. Doing so visually distinguishes them from the others and causes them to be displayed at the top of the presets menu.
