Here is a baby photo I did for a client. Before and after both included. Also, please keep in mind, after compressing for display on the web some of the detail is lost and the contrast seems a bit different too. On the final large file everything is dark that's black and the tone is even.

Wow! Great job. I like the fact that you genuinely restored the photo. You didn't change the composition just returned it to original or better condition than the damaged one.

The only thing I see is something that you mentioned but the side of the pram has lost detail it seems. But you covered yourself on that. ;)

very nice job so far. i only see one major point that needs fixing yet. the baby's blouse has blown out whites. too much bleach :) a curves adjustment or levels, perhaps masked first on that area or if you have a bright/dark brush to bring it down that shld work also. you may also have to bring all the whites down just a touch to keep the contrast between the blouse and the rest.

there is also something on that buggy panel on the right, some spots or something. i cant tell from this image if it's part of the buggy or not. i'm guessing it is since you did such a good job on all the cleanup.

i like pretty much all the rest of it. nice job so far.
