If so, what have your experiences been? T Paul 10-10-2005, 09:20 PM You have three choices: monthly, annually and premium. The monthly membership is of course monthly and a great way to test the waters. The annual membership is for a year and the premium membership is for a year with the bonus of being able to download the exercise files which the other memberships don’t offer. I am currently a member and have been really enjoying the library of files. It is quite the collection and the tutorials are very well done. I have the premium membership, but so far I wouldn’t recommend it. The annual would be better choice as I haven’t seen any great benefit to the exercise files in the tutorials I have viewed. They have been very simple to the point that you could easily create them yourself as you follow the movies. Perhaps some of the different sections’ exercise files offer something more substantial--making the premium cost a good investment, but I just haven’t seen it yet. The library also offers several free files to get a taste of what’s being offered. So far, I’d recommend the site. It’s a great education source on a wide variety of software programs from Photoshop to Blogger, Office to Actionscript and so much more! ~T shellby 02-18-2006, 03:26 PM Yip I used it for a year and I actually need to subscribe again for this year! Swampy 02-18-2006, 06:37 PM I've used Lynda.com too and love it. I usually do the $25 a month for one month when Adobe releases new upgrades to Creative Suite. The month is good for 24/7 so you can cover a lot of territory with full access all day every day for a month. I usually take the opportunity to check out other stuff too. The tutorials are very good! |
