I've been looking online for tutorials, but haven't encounter one at all. Maybe I'm not using the right wording for the search. Would someone be able to give me some pointers/instructions on how I would go about using a color image and turning it into a similar photo below by Kim Anderson? Thanks so much for your help!

To have the pastel colors you can just change the opacity on your brush if your following Doug's process, I haven't tried the other way. That's what I did on the sample here. The wall on the left was full opacity, the right side was at 33%. I just did a quick thing over the photo to show you... lol didn't want you to think this was a finished product EEK! :lol:
