i'm not sure i understand. do you want to export the raw file from the camera to the computer or what? what is the native file format that the camera normally wants to export in?

You can download RawShooter (RAW workflow software enabling digital photographes of all skill levels to efficiently import, view, prioritize, edit and convert large batches of digital camera RAW images.) for free from the following website.

http://www.pixmantec.com/products/rawshooter.html

I have a Canon G3 also, and wanted to try out shooting in raw before I upgraded to Photoshop CS2 with a raw converter. I'm afraid that I can't tell you much about it except that it does let you shoot in raw format and work on your raw images before converting them to tif to edit in PShop or other editing software. I only tried it out a bit and then got busy with other things -- thanks to your post, I'm going to work on it some more the next time I use my G3. :)

Yousendit (http://www.yousendit.com/) is free; you don't have to register; and the limit is 1 gb.
