I scanned a picture for a post on restoration forum. Someone thought I might need to get a new scanner. Well, IT IS a new scanner .Canon Canoscan8400.The scan is posted in the restoration forum. Would like some comments from anyone who might detect the problem. Thanks Neb

I had a similar problem to this some time ago which turned out to be the cable, if you can try another cable or at least check the connections are seated tightly.

Thank you X . I will do so. I have the usb plugged into the front of my computer as cable not long enough to reach back..do you suppose that might be the problem? Neb :rainbow:
