Hello, I'm back again with another photo I would like assistance with.
I'm having trouble with the plants in the top left of the picture. I can't seem to get the lightness out of it in a consistent way. Plus, there are probably some other things I could use some pointers on. Anything you would like to offer is deeply appreciated.

First I moved it from index color into RGB. Then I duped the file and moved the copy into CMYK. copied the black channel and pasted it back into the RGB image as a channel, and inverted it. Activating this channel as a selection gives you much more precision than if you simply used the RGB master curve, which kind of turns all the shadows to mud.
After darkening the blacks, I moved into lab for a color enhancement. Further moves might bring out the greens in the plants, but that would take some masking.

for the plants i simply made a new, blank raster layer and spray painted in some green, then gausian blurred it. since this layer was on top, it simply shows through and colors the plants.
but i also did another thing that was bugging me about this image. the woman, particularly her face and neck, didnt look right. when i zoomed in i could see why. there is actually very little detail here and a fair amount of pixelation and artifacting. this also exists a lot in the veil. so, i took the soften brush and brushed out the artifacts, essentially blurring them. i then smudged that bright white line on her neck to make it darker and softened most of the lines around her face.
nice restore of the colors, btw!

Tom, I don't know if this option is open to you, but the white flowers behind her head are quite distracting. Looks like white flames leaping out of the veil.
Maybe some darkening and/or blurring on these.
