I came across these images (http://www.ebaumsworld.com/biggirl.html) - believe it or not, I was looking for beading patterns :tired: and I wondered just how real they are.

I'll let you all have a look and then give you my interpretation - not that I'm any expert!

Looking at the height of the ceiling, I would guess the big girl is big as life and the rest where taken down, or are well proportioned midgets! LOL

I'd say photoshopped. The "giant" has short arms. She also has short legs judging from the baseboard and the height of the electrical outlet. Those are characteristics of dwarfs, not giants.

And look at the height of the counter, those girls couldn't "belly up" to the bar. Looks like they were all photoshopped (is that a word?).

I'm looking at the "giant's" necklace - the charm looks like a fairly common kind of thing and they are usually pretty dainty - not likely that there would be one that large.

Also, her blouse. Since someone as large as she appears to be would be rare, her clothing would have to be hand-made. That blouse is definitely not hand made (I'm a seamstress too  )

I think it's a combination of making her larger and the rest smaller - or just combining two images.

But I remembered where I got the link to the page from. This (http://giantology.typepad.com/giantology/2005/11/digging_up_the_.html) blog. Of special interest is this link (http://arkadysimkin.pl/index_eng.html) to a site by a Polish geologist who claims to have discovered the body of an ancient creature under the ice above the Arctic circle.

If you're bored and follow all these links and get to Arkady Simkin's site, click on the link to the video (at the bottom of the first page) and watch closely. The "skeleton" has straight angle ridges on it - huh!

Anyway, you've probably all been following this hoax as it developed - I'm just waiting for it to hit CNN :vampire: :vampire:

Take care, Margaret

she's also smaller on second image than on first - only had to slightly bend down to be on the almost same high az the rest of girls ;)

Also her watch would be enormous on any of the normal sized girls. Not too many for sale that are that size.

As usual with these things, it's the detail that gives them away.

The last image also has some extremely rough cloning above the head of the small girl.

I have 5 sisters in all, and one brother, in July we had a party, now all my sisters except one are alittle plump we shall say,. One is very slender and petite, when we had our group girls picture, one sister said to me, to make the sister slender,. Look abit plumper, i made her to the disgust of her extra large with thunder thighs, and made the bigger girls very slim, we have laughed big time with these photos, i did in photoshop, sorry just adding here, my sister would kill if i shown the picture, but anything can be done with photoshop.

That's cute - I think I'll do that to some of my own pictures - make me slim and make everyone else plumper :classic:

But I'm going to disagree again. Not "shopped". I've seen a couple women like this here in Texas. As far as her clothes go, my mother was an executive secretary who happened to have made all of her own clothes on an old 50's era Singer sewing machine using McCall's patterns and the like. She could've easily made the blouse this woman is wearing. The watch looks like a man's watch on a modified band or strap.
