Hey guys!

I'm 15 and would love to pursue a career in digital art. I'm very interested in fashion retouching and read something on here about a book called something like Glitter. Does anyone know anything about it? Does anyone have any other book suggestions? (I have adobe photoshop CS)
Thank you!

Hello Emily

Well done!!! Its nice to see a teenager who knows what they want to do, good luck i am sure someone will come to tell you what books to get, reading online looking up summary of jobs would be a start.

eMily, I don't know if this is what you read about here, but it sounds like a good place to start -- from the www.glitterguru.com website -- the Glitter Guru - "Suzette Troche-Stapp a.k.a "the glitterguru" is one of the most sought-after photographer/digital artists today.... As an award-winning photographer and digital artist, her vast background has given her a wealth of experience in the intersection of art and technology." You can look at her portfolio and her before and afters to see if she does the type of work that you would like to learn.

She has a book listed on Amazon (ask Santa for it if it looks good!)

Have you tried some of the Challenges here on this website, and read any of the tips and tutorials? You can learn a lot here as well as reading and practicing with books, so by the time you've completed high school, you'll be ready to choose a good digital art school program and polish off your skills.
