Hey,

I finally got round to creating a retouching website, and would love for you to have a look tell me what you think.

Also if anyone needs any work done to contact me

Hi, I've just seen your website, I think that you did a great job on those ones.

You have some nice work there, but two suggestions on the website.

One, I'm on a high speed connection, and yet I was having to wait a noticeable amount of time each time I clicked on a photo and also when I hovered to see the original.

Consider going with a faster host.

Also, I click on a photo, look at it, am impressed. Now I have to go backwards and see another.

Put the menu of pictures across each viewed photo. Don't make a client go back and forth.

Just some thoughts :)

Nice, but the navigation took me a moment to figure out.

I think this navigation looks cool, and it's clever and artsy. However, I almost overlooked it.

Thanks for your input!

Hmm whenever I go on the site it loads instantly....anyone else having slow loading times? You can click on the image to go to the next one, no need to go back, but having said that I know what you mean and will probably put thumbnails on each page :masked:

Interesting comment about the navigation, a few people say they overlook it.... I just wanted something really clean and simple looking, possibly too simple

I will keep on improving it.

Cheers :wavey:

I too have cable and had a lonf loading time. I also found myself clicking back to see another photo. See I clicked on the last photo to look at first and when I clicked on the photo it didn't do anything. It is very clean but may be a little confusing for some. I think with a little tweaking it will be great.

Hi!

Beautiful work; I'm partial to landscapes and loved yours. Like the clean, uncluttered look also. I'm on a cable connection today, pics loaded very quickly. I'll check again when I'm on my own dsl connection. Odd that I didn't think to click on each pic; usually I'll do that, if the cursor changes. Others are probably right, there should be some kind of navigation on each page. I do like that uncluttered look though.

i'm using 3 megabit dsl and it loaded very quickly for me.

i also agree with the navigation issue. it's hardly ever preferable to use the back button on the browser. you've lots of space on the pages. add at least a next/previous button thing and it would help.

nice work.

hi,

i've looked at your website. you have nice retouch pictures. but, it does take alot time to load it up. i had to go back on the back button to look at the others pictures. its good to have home buttons, gallery buttons, and etc...
go browse around the net and look other websites to get an idea what else you want to put in your site. other than that, nice pictures. :masked:

Thanks to all the comments, I have now implemented a next previous button at the bottom of each image, so hopefully navigation is sorted. Speed issues I am confused about but will look into it.

Take a look, hopefully you like it better!! :bigthmb:

I did not see any images on your web site. I only saw three lines at the upper left and your email adress further to the right.

I'm using a high speed DSL line and have not had any problems.

Please advise.

I enjoyed looking through you site and didn't find it slow nor difficult to navigate.

Looking through your before and after retouched head shots I was wondering what technique you used to get the almost white look to the skin with such a sharp contrast to the darkened hair. Is this work of Shadows/Hilights or something greater?

Sorry I'm new to all this.
