My client's father presented me with a wallet to see if I could duplicate it. Sure, I can. But what's the point of duplicating a damaged photo? So I spend hours restoring this image using the healing brush and patch tool. The only frustrating thing is I couldn't find a way to remove the texture of the photopaper. If you know of a tool for that, let me know. Attached are the original scan and the finished image.

I used a Despeckle filter with some success with the same problem. I also used some light smudging and selective bluring on certain spots.
