I thought today i would try and get some photographs of my cat Winnie awake, Only problem is she is a better model asleep than awake and wouldn't pose for me, i have posted a couple of the photo's incase any one was bored ( as if) and wanted to mess around anything goes except for animal cruelty !

p.s. Is it better to post photo's warts and all or try and corect colour etc first ?

Thats great Ikroll, As said above i do post photo's warts and all for two reasons, one i find altering them affects some filters and how they work, secondly i am absolutely useless at colour correction and spend hours debating wether they are "Right". So to see one corrected is a cause of great envy.
mind you her white bits arent always that white usually there is some mud in there :lol:

Miss them all very much; had to give them up when I went belly up a little over a year ago. Fortunately my sister found good homes for them (all living in the same place on a farm no less). :)

With the cats I have owned, (or was it the other way around), attempting to get one to pose was like trying to push hot butter up a rope. 8-) Asleep, I sneaked many a fun shot.

You can always tell a cat owner, by the way they talk about them. Winnie owns us, she has more attitude than either kids had put together, and now she is the only one left at home she RULES ! ! !

ArtRage (http://www.ambientdesign.com/artrage.html) 1.1 that is (just found this link and found out that 2 is released; at $19, it's a steal. Will probably buy it in a few days). I first used Impressionist djroil24 preset, but then I decided to do some extensuations with ArtRage. Haven't played with it in a little while, so I stroked it with my handy dandy mouse and voila. :)

Thank you, Palms... I used buzz to simplify the photo and then took it into Painter used blender stump for the background and artist pastels for the kitty. Brought it back to Photoshop and cleaned it up a bit. Put the original on the top layer, masked it and brought back a few details. I actually thought it could used some sharpening, however, I like the softness also, so just left it.

lkroll: I really like that effect...very, very nice. I downloaded the free version for mac to try it out, but it starts up and then just quits.... bummer!
