Here ia a pic of the London Eye for you to work on.
I think its begging for the Saladore Dali treatment (too much for me to attempt).
Have a go, or any other style you want, of course.

Went a bit abstract here.

Started doing a radial blur on the wheel, then got a bit carried away with the motion blurs on everything else, then pumped up the colours in LAB mode, then sharpened a lot, then .....

.. in short, just had fun :)

Craig the effect is a setting in impressionist called "bumps and craters" ( under geometrics)
Ro i think that is excellent, and love the bright colours

Lovely pic. Thanks for sharing it...

My "how to"
* Duplicated Background
* Applied Photoshop's Stylize > Diffuse > Anisotropic filter 3 times to give it an arty look
* Applied some Unsharp Mask to tighten the edges a bit
* Boosted saturation (Image > Adjustments > Hue/Saturation)
* Duplicated the modified layer
* Applied a custom Impressionist setting (e-mail me if you want it) to give the river and sky a little personality. The Impressionist rendered strokes were selectively revealed in the sky and river using a Layer Mask.
