please, please - can some tell me how to type a link to a website that you can click on? Get what I am saying? That the text becomes a link - how on earth do I get that to work? The site I am trying to link to is mine:

www.geocities.com/firstlightdesigns

I am trying to get my bellsouth page to link to my geocities page, something that anyone can just click on to take them there - but when I tried what I THOUGHT was right it did not work. THanks so much in advance!

dawn,

here's a little trick to learn simple html. get the mozilla browser (possibly firefox also). it comes with 'composer', which is a simple drag and drop type web page maker...well, almost drag and drop. it's very easy to use.

for something like adding a link to text, you write out the text on the page, highlight it, and hit the 'link' icon on the toolbar and it adds the link to the text. the trick is, once that is done, you can click on a tab at the bottom which will show you the html code instead of your images and text. look at the code for what you just did with the text and link, and there you go.

I love the basic scheme of the site and definately your work, but the mouseover before and afters were really hard for me to load, and i have a fast internet connection.
