View Full Version : Seeing in PSCS same as web?

I am having issues here - lol. I need to know exactly how do I go about makign the image I am workign on in PSCS look like the image that I will see if I put it on the web. What color space should I be workign in and what about that proof view thing - what should that be set to? My images I see in Photoshop do not even look like what I see if I am viewing them directly on the computer out of my folder. I am saving them as jpeg. I am pretty sure the space I am workin in is sRGB. Is this wrong for the web? Please help, I am so frustrated. Thank so very much in advance!

The short answer is to convert to sRGB BEFORE Saving for the Web (i.e., Image> Mode> Convert To Profile: sRGB IEC61966-2.1). Here is a link to an article which explains why in more detail:
