Hi all,
I was trying to put a link to download a simple pdf slideshow on my website to demonstrate a mini-tutorial I posted here. The slideshow works, however the link on my site downloads the file throug a viewer as a pdf file with three different pages, not the slideshow pdf, as I uploaded. Here is where I placed the file: http://www.fixthepixs.com/test_slideshow

I tried to chage my file settings on my brower thinking that maybe the preferences were set to have the viewer open pfd files, but that didn't help. :depressed

Any insight would be appreciated.
Thank you,

~Nancy~

Hi Nancy,
When I download and double click it, it opens as a slide show in Adobe Acrobat. However, using IE it opens as 3 separate web pages. Perhaps the browser plugins are not able to take advantage of the slide show feature. Anyway, lovely work!

Murray

Gee thanks Murray for the nice comments and for testing my file. I am on a mac and both Opra and Safari open the file as a multiple page pdf file. I think you are right about the capabilities of the browsers.
Thanks agian for your help!!!! :)
