Hi,
Does anyone know if there is a plugin out there that creates "weaves" similar to the Testure Effects of PSP? I'm actually looking for something that goes beyond what PSP can do with a weave.
Thanks in advance,
Lorenzo

I did this Weave (http://www.pbase.com/trimoon/image/56132688) using Eye Candy.

Paintshop Pro has a weave effect very much like that one in the Effects menu. You can combine it with textures or displacement maps to get more variety.

I'll take a look at Eye Candy. I was hoping for a braided weave rather than the type that http://www.mehdiplugins.com/english/weaver.htm produces. I have tried PSP using textures; I was just hoping that there's something else out there...
These are samples of what I've done:

Takes a little time (depending on the size of your target) to render, but you can't beat free. Attached is a crop of the original weave. :)

Lorenzo, this is a free plugin for making lattice effects, don't know if this is even near what you want It will also do some similar to those above.

These effects are straight out of the filters, didn't adjust any sliders, and could be further enhanced with embossing and such.

Catherine,
Thanks! I really like the Redfield Lattice Composer plugin. It's quite powerful. http://tropicalearth.smugmug.com/photos/56576607-L.jpg

I'm glad you like it, Lorenzo, and I'm also glad you posted your abstract piece. The filters used straight, on a photo, are a bit heavy handed for me, but I love what you did with it.
