| View Full Version : Colorization critique OnAir 02-19-2006, 02:08 PM I'd love to see your judgment about this: http://www.pbase.com/equinaut/image/56149311 LonK 02-19-2006, 04:06 PM The original is a very stylized modern photo to begin with. I think you've retained that in your selective colorization effort. Nicely done. I wouldn't say the latter is an improvement though, as I think the original has more impact as pure B&W. LonK 02-19-2006, 04:15 PM Oops, hit submit too fast. Meant to continue by saying the original, apparently a fashion ad draws attention to the coat. Your rendition brings more attention to the model himself, particularly his face. If that was your intent, then you've succeeded. OnAir 02-19-2006, 11:27 PM Thank you for your reply :) I was just trying to find out, if it could be used in fashion shooting, as colorized picture has a little strange appearance, slightly different from the real color shooting, like it was used in movie 'Aviator' by Legendfilms (http://www.legendfilms.net/services.html) . |
