hi

i have got some models with very little bust, and good method to create a nice one with volume? the client wants it. they wear bikinis or tight shirts.

i made the first one, she looks good now. i took the busts from a third model and blended them into the chest. but i cant do that with the 2 others. it would be too obvious.

using the blowup-feature in the Photoshop filters is a bit limited. it looks too blown if exaggerated.

:dizzy:

Liquifier and stuff is a good start for breast enlargements. What's important is to find the right way to apply the texture to them, e.g. if you have a bikini with stripes to apply them so it looks natural, and to watch shadows and lights to make them look real.

Do you happen to have an example picture?

ok sure if you want. fine

the liquifier tools are my first choice for this in combination with curves to boost shadows and highlights, like you describe,

i only thought there is another different approach, so i could learn more...

Think about what happens as the surface turns from facing the light to curving away. It goes into shadow. (Duh.) A larger surface will result in highlight, transitional and shadow areas being politioned differently than a "flatter" surface. (Trying to keep this PG-13, folks). There will, in fact, be much less shadow with a flatter surface. Liquify is essential for modifying the edge areas, and the seams of material, but look closely at your shadow areas. Get a dodge/burn layer going and you'll be amazed at the enhancement that is possible.

If you want to bring your retouching skills to another level, I HIGHLY recommend this DVD: http://www.thegnomonworkshop.com/dvds/sro08.html
It discusses in depth how to create beleivable volumes from scratch. Great for breast, facial and body contouring and everything in between.

Pure, play around with Filter>Distort>Pinch as well as Filter>Distort>Spherize. If you use the Eliptical Marquee tool to make a selection you may find one of these does just the job on a specific model. The Spherize filter also allows you to contrain the distotion to only the horizontal or the vertical which can also work well on some images.

wow did you do that Pure? Looks great!,

thanks. it was made a bit too fast and not detailed very much, but for 1-2h its ok for me. as i mentioned, first used the different tools in the liquifier filter in Photoshop CS2 to correct the desired shape of the bra, then adjusted the curves for shadows / highlights partially and used dodge and burn a bit. finally i dropped a cutout from another girls’ brest and worked it into the other skin.

i just showed it for getting inspirations to create it in another way. maybe there isnt. i dont know.

I have seen a professional reouching only the skin, not the bra, this way the bra seems to be pushing more and looks somehow more real.

You did it pretty well Peter, but I think she now seems to have veeeeery huge brest and looks somehow unnatural. I think you have the skills, but just keep playing around with the ideas you already know.

It helps a lot go out and look another busts :D :D :D

yes the skin is way too soft. no more pores. thats what i dislike

the breast is huge and far too big. i made it proportional before in different versions, only 1/2 of the latest size. but the client didnt like it.

they want it always so big. i said, men especially have different tastes. and obviously she has tiny ones, thats natural and ok, for sure.

blowing up each single model is boring in my taste.

its a commercial...nothing else. what i dont like is also that especially the girls – small ones – see those and presume its natural to have big round breasts. so, thats a common case i think, affects puberty complexes in a special way.

Great job Pure and I am with you they need to be some where in between I guess you are stuck trying to please the client but as you say they have smaller assets and asking to go so big is wrong. Before I saw the picture I was going to suggest you start with a larger resolution, and cop the brests to a smaller resolution file allowing you to create an increased bust, but the bust has no initial definition so that would not work in this case.
