Eight meat processing workers came forward Wednesday to claim the $365 million Powerball jackpot, the largest lottery prize in U.S. history.

I like it when a group wins the BIG lottery pots rather than just one individual (I believe there is such a thing as TOO much money), and this group especially makes me happy -- several are middle-aged family men who have worked all their lives, and there are 3 immigrants - 2 from Vietnam (one was the man who actually purchased the ticket) and one from central Africa.

When I don't win (which is every time so far), I enjoy seeing winners who appear to be people who could really benefit from getting a financial lift. Meat processors probably earn good wages, but the work probably has its nasty side -- they seem willing to say good-bye to the work -- one stated "I've been retired for about 4 days now...".

Watch the video (link in story) -- it's fun to see those BIG checks!
