Someone posted a link to a photographers site a while back and I cant find the link now. Most of the work was pretty mediocre IMO but there were some real gems in there, the ones I particularly remember is close up of glittery lips eating an icelolly. Anyone remember the link?

Hi Nancy, I believe it may be Stephen Eastwood site -- one here with blue lips and blue lolly (14th picture from the left at link below).

Hmm, close but thats not it. And that was quite possibly the worst photo site I've seen in a while - thank god I wasnt on dial up!!!
It was very similar and the name rings a bell - maybe he changed the site, I'm not sure, these were real tight shots, lots were of nice makeup shots - lips, eyes etc. There werent that many pictures on the site. I wish I could remember the name.

nancy,

no help here with what you're looking for, but i was curious as to what you said about the site listed. i do notice your objection was with the site, not the photos. was it the layout you objected to, the arrangement and order of things?

Theres got to be 200 images at least just on that one page, which you have to wait for to see anything but the first image. On dial up that would just be impossible.
Thats not even getting into frames and horizontal scrollbars...

nancy,

ok, thanks for the clarification. i tend to agree, a bit of an odd layout. nice photography, though.

A lot of weaker stuff in there. A porfolio shouldnt be everything you've ever done lol. A traditional book portfolio would have 20-30 of your BEST images.
I didnt dare press the 'next page' button.

Nancy -- this has been bothering me, so I searched a little bit -- check out

www.philippesalomon.com (i think that's right)

is this the site? if not, there are a bunch of heavy makeup shots that may interest you there.

How about this...

When I saw your post I remembered snook305

Seems like he's learning fast - his images are now a lot better than I remember from when I visited the site a few months ago.

A bit short on the lips 'n lollies though.

good hunting!

Its a very specific guy I'm looking for :(
From what I remember he had 3 gallerys and they scrolled horizontally. The site was black and there were very few images (frustrating, wanted to see more)

I'm becoming resigned to the fact that I will never find him again :(

Have you asked Shellby? Was it one of those sites that was discussed a few months ago when "silver light" and polished skin were being discussed? I've been looking thru those posts, but haven't found an "ice lolly" yet.

No I don't think you were dreaming it because I remember seeing a site like that. I'll let you know if I find it but wanted to tell you I remember seeing the lips and lolli.

You know... then again, I'm thinking maybe it was red lips and a cherry....

Grrrrr now I'm bugged haha.
