Hi everybody!

I browsed through pBase a couple of days ago and stumbled upon this amazing photographer (Jonathan Waiter) and I began to wonder how he gets those vibrant colors in his pictures? Also, he seems to be able to put a color cast into the pictures without the image turning too flat.

Some images:
Example 1 (vibrant colors) (http://www.pbase.com/hiv/image/56858658)
Example 2 (color cast) (http://www.pbase.com/hiv/image/56861770)

I appreciate any tips you might be able to give me

For the colour cast perhaps he shoots in RAW and then uses Camera Raw to change the colour temp?

You could try creating a new layer and filling it with the color of the cast you want and then play with the blending modes and opacity of the color layer. It's something I've seen suggested for removing color cast actually except you invert the color.
