Quite often, it is desirable to put text that is filled with one image onto another image and you want to do this non-destructively. In Photoshop, there are two features specifically for this called the clipping mask and the knockout. Paintshop Pro doesn't have this feature. This tutorial shows you how to partially simulate the Photoshop knockout capability.
This applies to Paintshop Pro 8 and later. [details (http://www.retouchpro.com/tutorials/?m=show&id=219)]

Good tutorial Bart. There was someone on the Corel newsgroup that had likely read your tutorial and was asking some very basic questions about adding a white layer.
We PSPers thank you.
