Here are three images. The challenge is to combine something from all three into one artistic grapic. Use any tools, filters, actions you want to experiment with but, you must use at least one element from all each file.

Janet Petty 04-03-2006, 08:41 PM Frank, very nice tiling effect. I could almost see this in a real building. Janet kiska 04-04-2006, 06:06 AM 'Swamp Woman', don't know if this is what you were looking for? Swampy 04-04-2006, 06:44 AM Frank, cool! I especially like the subtile color combinations and the rotation. Kiska, well, yeah, sorta... Your elements are similar, but so distored they don't look anything like the originals. For example, the ferns look more like grass. LOL philbach 04-04-2006, 07:02 AM I guess my mind is elsewhere. Swampy 04-04-2006, 07:08 AM Lovely, Phil I see a sunset over water with a grassy shore! Well done. kiska 04-04-2006, 07:48 AM Alrighty den. Philbach, I'm IMPRESSED! Swampy 04-04-2006, 03:35 PM Here's what I came up with I used different blending modes on the ferns and oil painting till I found something I liked then merged these two layers I desaturated the geometric and placed it below the merged layer then set the Blending options to bring through some of the black from the design. philbach 04-04-2006, 03:45 PM Very nicely done. And by the way, congratulations on the Win of the Florida Gators in Basketball Monday night. Those tall devils. Swampy 04-04-2006, 03:49 PM Phil, I'm sure Steve would appreciate your Congrats.. He's a Gator. I opt for the Seminole side. LOL ScubaMargie 04-04-2006, 07:32 PM I thought I would have a go at this one. This is my first attempt at a challenge here. I hope you guys like it. Swampy 04-04-2006, 08:08 PM Welcome aboard, ScubaMargie. I like your version. Lots of color and a very interesting pattern. I like the way the ferns are so elusive in the center section. And the light and shadow on that center portion gives the illusion of some kind of organizm. An alien starfish of some kind. Neat! ScubaMargie 04-05-2006, 05:05 AM Thanks Swampy. I didn't see it as an aloen starfish, now that I look at it though I can see it. I'm glad you like it. I had fun doing it...and now will do more challenges. |
