Can someone help me restore the photo of my mother for example give it some color and generally make the pic look nice.
This is the only picture I have of her and it would be nice to share it with the rest of my family.If you can give me any idea how to begin and I will work from there. Beginning is the hard part.
Once I have worked on one I will be able to work on the rest, but reading tutorials has not yet given me the confidence.

Hello Edith. Do you have a larger scan of your original photo? The bigger, the better. If not, something can still be done. It's just harder to see the little areas that need repair. I might try something and I'm sure others here will work on it as well. It's really not bad as a source. steveb
