Watched this program on t.v last night and found it quite fascinating it is about a pioneering film maker,In 1924 who shot footage on his travels from Lands End to John o Groats (UK) but in colour ! and it gives some insight into the way of life back then

heh, seems they wont show it to us 'furiners'. no broadcasts outside the u.k....broadband costs are expensive, blah, blah, blah :(

oh dear that is a pity as it is interesting not only the camera work but the era as well. Sorry it wont work outside the uk

....so we have to give priority to people within the UK, who ultimately bear the cost of us doing this through their licence fee.
Contrary to the impression many folks have, the "Beeb" is not free, it is paid for by the English TV licences. So they sortta got a point there.

Shame though.
