I was wondering if there is a HUGE difference in the quality of prints a person would get when scanning from the 3490 to the 4490.

I am mainly looking to scan in old pics and touch them up for re-printing. (I dont print my own, i send them away) I am just starting so i probably dont need the latest and greatest but was wondering what you all thought!
