Hey everyone! Does any one know where I can get a pair of eye lashes to use on pictures? I have a set but they are on an eye and they dont look right when I try to cut it out. Maybe someone could help me cut these out, they would be a perfect set for me to use over and over again! Eye lashes attached!

I'm inclined to make "eyelash" shaped brushes when I need to add lashes to someone. Probably not the most efficient use of my time but it works pretty well for what I need.

How about tracing these lashes that you have if separating them from the surrounding isn't working too well.

Have you tried googling 'false eyelashes'...you may find some on a white background that could be of some use.

Be careful cutting/pasting from someone else's work. If the lashes are recognized you will be confronted. Now if you make your own set (by hand not copying) and they look similar, that is fine. Just no blatant using of someone elses work.

There is no easy way to create custom lashes. You will have to break down and create them by hand, whether it be with a tablet or photoshop brushes.

Most the fun is finding your own style :)

If you go to renderosity.com, there are people there who sell some great sets of eyelash brushes really cheap. They are not attached to any eyes. They come the same way that Flora made hers, and also as individual lashes. They are also made for left and right, top and bottom.

Thanks everyone! You all were a great help. I will check out all the information you gave me. Oh and the eye lashes I attached was eye lashes from my own daughters picture that was retouched and the lady that retouched it gave me permission to foll around with them. I would never copy anyones work!
