Hello,

I'am trying to find out how to accomplish natural retouching like the photography of for example cyril lagel:

http://www.cyrillagel.com/

Some professionals saying they are don't using any blurring. Are they using only dodge/burn and darken or brighten every pixel ? I am not sure how the dodge and burn method is really working. Another part are the color tones. The skin looks very bright and desaturated. I think there is no secret behind it because they are no different from anybody else.

Sometimes I had some blotchy parts on the skin and I don't know how to get rid of them. I try to darken or brighten the parts using dodge and burn with very low opacty (5-10%) but it doesn't look like an integrated part.

best regards,
Thomas

There is a new airbrush action included with 1ClickActions (http://www.1clickactions.com) that works far better than I expected. I don't think its listed on their website yet (they send free updates to existing users by email) as I only received it a few days ago but its proving its worth already. It manages to smooth skin without destroying tonality and texture completely.

Photoshop I don't have any connection with the company other than being a satisfied user.

Thanks for the link. Up to now I never used the patch tool by this means.
But the photographies on this site are not very professional.
