My neighbor have two photos in his possession, one photo is of his dad when he was about eight years sitting with his dog, and the other photo is of his mom standing beside a white cart with her right hand on the handle. I would like to know how can I put the two together on one photo beside each other.

Gerald, you extract or mask out the image you want to add to the other photo.

Once you have it extracted or masked, you "move" it over to the other photo and adjust your sizing, lighting, erase stray edges, etc., then flatten or merge.

I do most of it PhotoImpact and find it very much easier so my directions come from the PI side of the fence.

Good luck!

As with almost everything to do with Photoshop, there's always more than one way to accomplish what you want to do.

It will be easier to advise you on which method to use if we could see the images.

Hi Gerald,

here (http://www.retouchpro.com/forums/showpost.php?p=118065&postcount=6) is an example of adding an element to a picture and some tips on what to be careful to when doing it ...

Of course, like Gary said, we could be more specific if you posted the images ... :)
