My last couple of photos were flowers.
Here is something different for you to play with.
A note regarding the color; a few years ago my kids decided the lantern needed a little something for christmas :-)

The colors reminded me of the cool, crisp season of December and an old fashioned post card.

I put the lantern in a garden background, Buzzed it, and then added a sandstone texture.

I used (among other things) a layer of Impressionist on Old Master.

gave it some sky to contrast against. followed that up by several simplifications.
