For me her face tooks too over done. It's too blurry and not natural looking. I think the whole pictures just needs to be brought back a few notches. The skin color looks great though. Just bring back the detail in the face and it'll be good.

The tone is nice, but it is too soft, the whole image is really soft.
And you removed crucial parts of the model, like the mole on her breast.

I think your version looks far better than that of Shumski, like in more professional and definitely ad material. However, I do have to agree with the previous posts about it pushing the blur technique too strong. Just keep it in moderation and you'll have a true winner. :)

thanks for the replies guys....this little exercise also helped me get my working file in better order...i keep skin smoothing layers in a separate layer set this way I can just pull back the opacity while not affecting my retouching or color correcting layers. Thanks.

I did some work on an image originally posted by Shumski, I hope you don't mind. I'll remove the post if so.

It's basically an overall retouch. looking for feedback. Please be very critical down to the smallest details!

Thank you.

Can you delete the images you attached?
I have a problem with the author.

I had strong recomendations and samples. So, I had no ways for variations.
