| View Full Version : help remove grain from a scan CathyH 06-22-2006, 07:59 AM HI I scanned in these race cars from an ad. What is the best way to remove the dot do to the printing process? I tried several things, like blurring the different channels, but I didn't get good results. It was done by one of our members and he describes how to use the FFT Filter. I used the FFT filter first. (it helps remove artifacts from paper scans) Neat Image second. (it helps remove noise) Adjusted the levels just a bit. I like yours it is still a little grainy but the edges are sharp. The criteria for me is the picture should look good inspite of some "technical" drawbacks.
