I moved the TLR Professional Mask Toolkit 2.0 from beta to release this morning.
Version 2.0 includes the following enhancements:
(1) Runs *MUCH* faster with large images
(2) UI can be suppressed so that masks can be added to a batch of files
(3) User configurable and also easily localized to other languages
(4) Will look to see if requested mask already exists. By default, no duplicate is generated. Can be configured by user to ask whether to replace the existing mask.
These are JavaScripts, not actions. So the user interface is much more powerful.
You can use the TL Professional Mask Toolkit to make edge masks for sharpening, surface masks for noise reduction, tone masks and color masks for image adjustment, etc.
There are separate versions for Photoshop CS and CS2. The CS2 version has four files. There is only one file for the CS version.
There is also a PDF documentation file with full-color graphics.

Like the rest of the Photoshop tools, tutorials, etc. on my site, this toolkit is free to all!
Enjoy!
Cheers,
Mitch
