I thought this might be an interesting pic to "artyfy". It's from my sister who lives now in Stutgart.....Enjoy, John.

great pic.

palms, they are mostly gourds and pumpkins. gourds come in a great variety of colors and shapes.

britsdad, your first one reminded me of those melting Dali images a bit...just a bit. was tempted to go full force with that effect on this image and just melt them all down :)

i think a polar coordinates in the circle style would look cool too.

LK... you should take up sewing!

I. A little more color to BW work here, primarily with three adjustment layers:
* Levels: Contrast fine tuning
* Hue/Sat: Saturation = -100; blend mode changed from Normal to Color
* Hue/Sat: Adjusted settings for individual colors, mostly red, yellow

-----------------------

II: A little playing around with "Mosaic" Impressionist presets :)

Just a xero filter. The pic has only 27% quality...

I had to compress with 13% quality for the one I posted; a miracle that it still looked alright. :mad:

No fair copying my techniques...altho I don't necessarily start with warp mesh. Usually it's whatever is handy. :dizzy:
