Wow! Didn't realize I still had it and that the floppy disk still boots!!!!(in an emulator of course) The program is DeluxePaint, I used to run it on my Commodore Amiga500 circa mid 1980s. Now, that's 16 colours NOT 16bit colour folks, although it will run 256 colours as I recall.
 How's that for power!

ah, deluxe paint. i had deluxe paint III and an amiga 2000. always thought that was a good program and a good computer. in fact, i still have both of them....somewhere. :)
what emulator are you running? and how did you get the disk to run? or did you get the software in emulation mode already?

Hehe... yes indeedie Gary, how times have changed.
Kraellin, I used WinUAE here's one link (http://amigaworld.net/) It was quite easy to set up get the old fossilware running within the emulator. You may need to copy your old adf files as disk image on your hard drive and you will also need Kickstart and Workbench for your virtual ROM also as well as some other tweaking in display settings etc... I had no problems- too easy

littlecoo,
i went to that site and got completely swamped and lost. it seemed also like you needed the 3.1 roms and a working amiga to pull them from. my amiga still boots but the monitor is fried so it would be a bit difficult to pull the roms to disk. also, i'm not even sure i ever installed the 3.1 roms. i'm pretty sure i got them but they came out about the time that my machine was having trouble (mostly the monitor) and they never got installed.
so, for now, i'm going to have to pass. too complex. not even sure what an '.adf' file is any more :)
